The Kuranda Railway, Cairns

Hello everyone!

After our adventurous trip up into the Daintree Rainforest, it was time leave. Leaving the Rainforest, we took the world famous Kuranda Railway train from Cairns to the Kuranda village. It was very steep as you went around, but beautiful scenery and definitely not one to miss when visiting Cairns.

It took them years to build this Railway station and it was very dangerous. You can learn more about the Kuranda Railway here. There were a couple of stops and one was to the famous waterfall called Barron Falls. I'm so pleased I visited Kuranda. Have you been? What did you most enjoy about it when you visited?

I hope you enjoy my photographs and consider taking the beautiful Kuranda Railway.
